I’ve got a new podcast for you today. This time I am speaking to Anna Maria Caballero: a writer and poet who since a few years have consistently minted her literary art and one of her works was recently been auctioned by Sotheby’s.
In this episode we spoke about
Anna journey
how she navigates the web3 space
balancing between creating art and promoting art
relationships between artists and collectors
pricing your NFT art
competition
the role of traditional galleries in the web3 space
Anna’s auction at Sotheby’s
the importance of IRL events and engaging with online communities Thank you for reading Non-Fungible Rebels. This post is public so feel free to share it.
Writer’s Bootcamp
A writer friend is starting yet another 3 month online fiction writing bootcamp on Monday. I’ve done it years ago (and may do it again this time… have not decide yet). I think it’s super useful for anyone who wants to challenge themselves, grow their potential and amplify their creativity.
If you’ll be interested message me and I’ll make an intro.
Web3 Musings
I was at the event yesterday. It was a mature non-degen crowd and we had the opportunity to network and have deep conversations. It’s always good to be able to approach this from many different angles and see what everyone thinks and how is the overall sentiment. Because to be honest, I truly believe that unlike what many may think not all the space is on X. There we only see only one puzzle piece of the whole picture.
One of the statements that brought a smile on my face was when I was told “You know web3 space is so diverse - there are so many different crowds/communities - you have the serious ones, you have the degens, you have the NFT artists and the PFP communities, you have the Bitcoin maxis….”.
I was truly tempted to say something along the lines of I don’t only know that but to me it’s not a theoretical knowledge I am emerged into most of those communities so much by now that it’s gonna be hard to step away and detach… Then I took a few moments to try and understand which one I preferred most. And I realised that I could not pick only one because none of them is ideal and each of them feeds a certain part of my soul. So I guess I’ll be around for a bit longer…
Well… that was all from me this week…
